TET Assam Recruitment 2021 :  In vide of Section 23 of the RTE Act-2019, Member Secretary of Empowered Committee on Elementary TET, has released a notification on Conducting the most awaiting Teacher Eligibility Test(TET), 2021. Name Of the Exam: Teacher Eligibility Test(TET), 2021

Mode of Exam : Offline

Duration Of Exam:  150mins

Name of the Posts :

  • Lower Primary(Paper I)
  • Upper Primary(Paper II)

Educational Qualification : 

For Lower Primary : 

12th Pass with at least 50% marks and a 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)   OR1 2th Pass with at least 50% marks and a 4 year Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)   OR Graduation with at least 50% and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from any certified institution. However, the selected candidate shall have to mandatorily undergo a 6month Bridge Course in Elementary Education .

For Upper Primary :

Graduate with at least 50% marks and a 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)   OR 12th Pass with at least 50% marks and a 4 year Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)   OR Graduation with at least 50% and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from any certified institution.

Assam TET 2021 Age Limit:  18-40 years as on 01/01/2021

    Note :  Maximum Age Limit is Relaxed by 5years for SC/ST,  3years for OBCNC,  10years for PWBD(UR), 13years  for  PWBD(OBCNC)  & 15years  for  PWBD(SC/ST)

Selection Process:  The selection process will be based on Written Exam. A Candidate requires to score  60% which is 90 marks out of 150 to qualify for the Teacher Eligibility Test(TET), 2021. However, Relaxation will be there for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC candidates. They have to score a minimum of 55% which is 83 out of 150 to qualify.

Application Fee for TET Assam Recruitment 2021 :

  • For UR/OBC/MOBC  Candidates  : Rs. 350/-
  • For SC/ST/PWD Candidates : Rs. 150/-

    Points to Remember

  1. The Camdidates willing to apply for both the Ppaers i.e, Lower Primary and Upper Primary , have to pay fee for both category Individually.
  2. Paid Fee will not be refunded in any Circumstances.
  3. Payment of Fee should be done online.
