Gauhati University PG Admission 2022-23 | Gauhati University is a famous start of higher education in Assam. Every year, Gauhati University conducts an entrance test called the Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) to select eligible students for admission to various Postgraduate programs. Likewise, the short notice on the GU PGET 2022 was issued by the university on June 15, 2022. According to the official announcement, the Postgraduate Examination (PGET)-2022 will be held in 11 centers in Northeastern State for postgraduate admissions at Gauhati University and related colleges for the year academic year 2022-2023.

Eligibility Criteria of GU PG Admission

Gauhati University will accept applications for entrance tests for postgraduate qualifications in 2022 via the official online application portal. Students who meet the following eligibility criteria and wish to continue their postgraduate studies at Gauhati University can submit their online applications on the GU portal.

Master of Arts (MA) Course Admission Criteria

To get admission to a Master of Arts (MA), a student must possess any one of the qualifications listed below.

1. BA / BSc in the 10+2+3 pattern with Major/ Honours in the concerned subject.
2. BCom in the 10+2+3 pattern with at least 45% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in aggregate in the General Course.

Master of Science (MSc) Course Admission Criteria

To get admission to the Master of Science (MSc), a student must possess any one of the qualifications listed below.

1. BA / BSc in the 10+2+3 pattern with Major/ Honours in the concerned subject.
2. BCom in the 10+2+3 pattern with at least 45% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in aggregate in the General Course.

Note : 45% of the grades are calculated from the grades of parts I and II in the case of a 2 + 1 course and from the grades of parts I, II, and III in the case of the 1 + 1 + 1 model.

Master of Commerce (MCom) Course Admission Criteria

To get admission to the Master of Commerce (MCom), a student must possess any one of the qualifications listed below.

1. BCom in the 10+2+3 pattern with Major course.
2. BA/ BSc in the 10+2+3 pattern with General/ Pass Course subjects with at least 45% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in the concerned subject.

Gauhati University Admission For MBA

May 30, 2022 is the last date for acceptance of the MBA at Gauhati University 2022-23. The Department of Business Administration offers a two-year MBA program at Gauhati University. Graduates with a score of 50% are eligible to apply to @admissions.guportal.in. To gain MBA accreditation, students must pass a written test which will be held on 12 June 2022. Students who have achieved more than 75% in each of the national management exams have the choice of taking the written exam or not. Gauhati University admission tickets will be available from 4 June 2022.

But the government waived this registration fee last year and the official announcement for this year has not yet been published, so we all advise you to wait for this year’s information.
