Eligibility Criteria of CTET Application Form 2022
Classes I-V or Primary Stage
Senior Secondary Education (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (whatever the name is).
OR
Senior Secondary education (or equivalent) with a minimum grade of 45% and passed or in the last year of a 2-year Diploma in Basic Education (whatever name is known) under the NCTE Rules (Recognition Standards and Procedures), 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary Education (or equivalent) with at least 50% credit and graduating or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Basic Education (B.EI.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary education (or equivalent) with minimum marks of 50% and passed or appearing in the final year of the 2-year Diploma of Education (Special Education)*.
OR
“Graduation with a minimum mark of 50% and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)”
“(a) A person who has obtained a qualification or a Bachelor of Education from an NCTE recognized institution is eligible to be appointed as a teacher in grades I to V, provided that the person appointed as a teacher has completed half a year of compulsory teaching must complete an NCTE recognized bridging course in basic education within two years of being appointed as an elementary school teacher”.
Classes VI-VIII or Elementary Stage
Graduated and passed or in the last year of Diploma 2 Basic Education (however known).
OR
Graduated with a minimum mark of 50% and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduated with a minimum of 45% marks and or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) 1 year in accordance with NCTE regulations (Recognition Norms and Procedures) issued in this regard from time to time.
OR
Senior Secondary Education (or equivalent) with at least 50% credit and graduating or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Basic Education (B.EI.Ed).

Any candidate with a B.Ed qualification. Programs recognized by NCTE may appear in TET/CTET. In addition, under the circulating TET guidelines pursuant to the NCTE letter dated 2/11/2011, a person holding one of the positions listed in the NCTE letter dated 23 23 is also eligible to appear on TET/CTET.
