Assam Police SI Recruitment 2021 2022 : Office of the Chairman, State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam has published a notification for the recruitment of  Sub-Inspector AB (Male & Transgender, Female). Recruitment rallies will be conducted for filling up of  320 vacant posts of Sub-Inspector  for newly created Assam Commando Battalions. • Constable (AB) Male & Transgender – 314 posts.

There will be reservation for OBC/MOBC – 27%, SC- 7%, ST (P)- 10% & ST(H) – 5%. Ten percent (10%) reservation for persons belonging to EWS who are not covered under the scheme of reservation for SCs, STs and OBCs.

Note:  The number of posts may be increased or decreased by the Government at any time before the selection process is complete without giving any prior notice to the candidates. Educational Qualification Assam Police SI Recruitment 2021 2022–

The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College/ Institution affiliated to a recognized University.

Assam Police Pay Scale :

Rs. 14000- 60500 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs. 8700/- Grade pay plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.

Assam Police Age Limit :  20-24years as  on 01/01/2021

Note:  Maximum Age Limit is Relaxed by 5years for SC/ST,  3years for OBCNC,  10years for PWBD(UR), 13years  for  PWBD(OBCNC)  & 15years  for  PWBD(SC/ST) . Additional 3 (three) years in respect of National and International sports person who have represented India/ National Team of the state of Assam at the National or International level in the discipline recognized by International Olympic Committee & Indian Olympic Association. This will be over and above the relaxation age as per Govt. existing policy.

Note: The payment of fees will have to be made online through ‘Payment Gateway’ while filling the online Application form. The payment can  be done using Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/e-Wallets etc. Transaction Charges, if any will be borne by the candidates. At times,  there may be server issues because of huge rush, which may affect the payment process.   In such scenario, the candidate needs to log in fresh and attempt again.

Selection Process :  Candidates whose applications are found correct in all respect will have to sit in written examination. Candidates numbering only 5 times the number of posts in respect of each category will be called for PST (Physical Standard Test) and PET (Physical Efficiency Test) on merit basis. If any candidate is found to have any physical deformity as may be detected by the Medical Officer present in the Recruitment Board, he/ she will be debarred from participating in the other tests.

Medical Standards :  Candidates must not have knocked knee, flat foot or squint eyes, and colour blindness .Varicose vein shall be considered as disqualification. They must be in good mental and bodily health. They must be free from any physical deformities and free from diseases such as diabetes, hernia, piles, respiratory diseases or any other ailment that is likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties. The distant vision should be 6/6 for at least one eye and not poorer than 6/9 for the other without correction. Near vision should be normal.
